ADHD and Learning Disorder Assessments for Adults, Adolescents, and Children

Are you or your child struggling with focus, organization, or emotional regulation? Or perhaps you’re feeling inexplicably stuck in life? Getting clear, diagnostic answers is the first step forward.

I provide specialized, objective, comprehensive testing that compiles the information necessary to diagnose or rule out common concerns such as ADHD and learning disorders. Comprehensive testing is meant to provide a quantitative description of an individual’s experience by highlighting strengths, identifying growth edges, and providing insight into a person’s unique cognitive profile.

Accurate diagnosis provides a roadmap for treatment and increased self-understanding.

My comprehensive evaluations dive beneath the surface to help you:

  • Understand exactly how your (or your child’s) brain processes information

  • Access formal academic accommodations (e.g., 504 plans, IEPs, university-based accommodations)

  • Access workplace accommodations

  • Guide your treatment-related decisions, including accessing medication and identifying appropriate therapeutic interventions

What age groups do you test?

What does the assessment process involve?

In order to provide a comprehensive diagnostic picture of the examinee, the assessment process involves several parts.

Each assessment package includes a virtual interview, 2-3 in-person testing appointments, a comprehensive diagnostic report with recommendations, and a virtual feedback session to discuss the results. Additional information is collected via online rating forms and from collateral informants, with permission. Reports can be used to request academic or workplace accommodations, if relevant.

How long does the assessment process take?

The testing process itself, including the interview and testing sessions, ranges from 6-8 hours, depending on the referral question. Afterwards, you can generally expect to receive the comprehensive diagnostic report within 4-6 weeks. Once you have the report, we can schedule a 30-minute virtual feedback call to discuss the results, your reactions, and any questions you may have.
